If you own a cat you know that they like to bite when they’re cross with you. In fact, my kitty likes to bite me when I’m bathing her or taking her to the vet!

In this blog post I’d like over how cat bites can be as dangerous as dog bites.

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

So, its always a good idea to see your doctor (or at least call your doctor!) after you get bitten by your angry kitty!

After all, your safety is of the utmost importance.

Have you been bitten by your cat before? Let me know in the comments section…

  1. My husband and I have taken in over 30 feral cats over the years, currently we are at 21 in the house which can get out of hand at times. Cat bites or scratches can become infected very quickly. We keep Skintegrity wound cleanser on every sink in our home at the first bite or scratch head for the wound cleanser rub it in. If you do get an infection head for the nearest Doctors Office or Hospital and get on medication that they will give you.

  2. My husband actually got bit by my cat Mr. Misstofflees while trying to break up a cat fight with our other cat, Grizabella . Bob got bit really hard in 3 places. He got “cat scratch fever.” Within 2 hours his hand and arm swelled like a balloon . He was on 2 antibiotics for almost a month . This was a one time occurance and fortunately it never happened again.

  4. I have a Maine Coon who is normally very sweet and even tempered until….I try to move him from a spot where he is obviously comfortable, like a spot on my bed where I need the space to get in. He will nip me every time. He always comes back later and cries and kisses me, head bonks..he apologies..lol. Ever try to move a 30 pound cat who is comfortable???!
