Cats look adorable with their whiskers but have you wondered why your furry friend has them?

A cat’s whiskers are extremely sensitive to the environment as the area around them is surrounded by blood vessels and nerves. The tips can even detect a slight change in the wind! - They aren’t just on their nose!
Your kitty has a few whiskers around her nose and some near her eyes as well. your kitty also has whiskers on the chin, and on the back of her legs. - They help the cat figure out if she’ll fit
Whiskers actually help your fur baby to figure out whether or not she’ll fit through an opening. - They change color
Pure black cats get grey whiskers as they age—like humans get white hair! - They help the kitty position her prey
Whiskers help kitties figure out the proper position to make a fatal bite to kill her prey in one go.
