Do you know about the world’s most famous two-faced cat?
Her name is Venus and she literally has two different faces on the same body! One of them is solid black with a green eye while the other is striped orange with the blue eye.
And this cat has gotten a lot of press.
Venus even appeared on the Today Show!
Her face is an absolute mystery.
Some think that both sides of the cat’s bodies have different DNAs. This means that two embryos were fused together in utero. This essentially means that the cat is its own sibling in a sense.
But, there’s another side to the story!
Others believe that the cat’s colouring is just sheer luck and it doesn’t have two different DNAs.
One thing’s for sure, though. A cat like Venus is extremely rare!
