Cats have different meows under their sleeves for different situations and they all mean different things.
So, in this blog post I’ll decode your cat’s meows.
Let’s start.
Short Meows
Your cat is just saying hi to you and it is a form of greeting which may be accompanied by your kitty rubbing herself against you.
I don’t know about your heart, but your kitty sure wants your attention.
Multiple Meows
Multiple meows means your cat is VERY happy to see you. 1 meow = 1 happy.
It is not just a simple hi but, is a “Hey! How you doin’?”
Mid-pitch Meows
These basically mean that your cat wants something. It could be food, water, a clean litter tray…. you get the idea, right?
Long Meows
Take the mid-pitch meow and double its intensity. Your cat REALLY wants something from you! So, stop reading this and tend to your cat!
Low-pitch Meows
Well, you did something to upset your kitty and now he’s unhappy and in a bad mood. Maybe you you forgot him outside, maybe you didn’t feed him on time…
I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post as much as I liked writing it! I have a few cat sounds that I’d decode for you.
